Mentre i suoi amici [Helen e suo marito Paul, Kyle e sua moglie rediviva Elisabeth, Stephanie e Tony] festeggiano San Valentino, Erik è alla ricerca di un modo per confinare per sempre "Hastur", il Re in Giallo, in un luogo dove non possa più nuocere alla sua famiglia. Una lotta contro il tempo, che se non riuscirà a vincere lo porterà a sacrificare la sua stessa vita e quella dei suoi avi per cancellare l'antica maledizione degli Hastur.

While his friends [Helen, Kyle, Stephanie and Tony] are celebrating Valentine's Day, Erik is searching a way to forever seal Hastur, "the King in Yellow", in a place where it would be unable to hurt his family anymore. A race against the clock where failure would mean certain death for him and his ancestors' souls eternal damnation, to forever destroy the ancient Windblade-Hastur Clan's curse.
